Provide opportunity. Connect Communities. Improve lives.

Our purpose is to provide opportunity, connect communities and improve lives within the region.

Our ambition is to proactively engage generations across our diverse communities whilst ensuring that Edgbaston is accessible for all.

Our strategic objectives are the central pillars upon which we base our work: Wellbeing and Enjoyment, Creating Connections, Cricket Inspired Learning and Charitable Partnerships.

“We recognise that Warwickshire and Edgbaston Stadium are key pillars of the Edgbaston community and important institutions within Birmingham. This heightens the importance of having a positive impact in society which we aim to achieve through our charity the Edgbaston Foundation.”

Our Strategic Objectives

Icon

Well-Being & Enjoyment

Encouraging everyone to get active and improve their physical and mental well-being with a focus on enjoyment.

Icon

Creating Connections

Using cricket as a unifier to ensure everyone feels they belong as part of a diverse community and support those with limited opportunities.

Icon

Cricket Inspired Learning

Use cricket as inspiration to support young people to better themselves and acquire new skills through education and training programmes.

Icon

Charitable Partnerships

Working in synergy with other charities that have a youth focus to achieve maximum social value and impact through collaborative work.

Our local aims

As the charitable arm of Warwickshire County Cricket Club, we share the same values: Passion, Respect, Innovation, Diversity, Excellence.

Our aim is to ensure that these values are represented in the programmes we deliver and across all of our initiatives.

We aspire to make a difference locally. Our geographic sphere of influence is within 10 miles of Edgbaston Stadium with the aim to have 80% of that influence within a 2.5 mile radius.

“Our ambition is work with others and invite members, partners, and the public in supporting is with our endeavours.”
